Quantum Leap Full Movie Kickass Torrent > DOWNLOAD (Mirror #1)

Show Spoiler

Theorizing that one could time-travel within his own lifetime, Dr. Sam Beckett led an elite group of scientists into the desert to develop a top secret project known as Quantum Leap. Pressured to prove his theories or lose funding, Dr. Beckett prematurely stepped into the project accelerator… and vanished. He awoke to find himself in the past, suffering from partial amnesia and facing a mirror image that was not his own. Fortunately, contact with his own time was maintained through brainwave transmissions with Al, the project observer, who appeared in the form of a hologram that only Dr. Beckett can see and hear. Trapped in the past, Dr. Beckett finds himself leaping from life to life, putting things right that once went wrong and hoping each time that his next leap would be the leap home." courtesy of: http://www.quantumleap-alsplace.com/#premise
Although the project isn't ready yet, Sam hops into the Accelerator and leaps. As Tom Stratton, an Air Force test pilot, Sam finds his memory Swiss cheesed, with only enough left to know that he is not where or when he belongs. Al explains that the project has gone "a little ca-ca" and that the only way Sam can leap out is by flying the X-2 to Mach 3. Instead, Sam leaps after saving Tom's life, wife and child, only to find that rather than leaping home, he's leapt into Tim Fox, a minor league baseball player in Texas, at the end of the 1968 season, where he must make the winning play in order to leap.
Quantum Leap was a show way ahead of its time as far as network dramas go. A show that started in the late 80's and aired through the early 90's dealing with time travel. Before then all of the TV dramas were all cop, doctor and lawyer type of shows. QL combined drama, sci fiction, action and comedy at times.

The show starred Scott Bakula as Dr. Sam Beckett and Dean Stockwell as Admiral Al Calavicci, they were the only actors to appear in every episode. Sam is trapped in a time travelling paradox of sorts with Al in the present goes into a special room that is able to advise Sam along the way appearing as a hologram. One each time travel the duo has to fix something that went wrong in the past before being able to leap to the next time. Sam hopes with each subsequent leap that it'll the leap home.
A highly imaginative idea from Donald P. Bellisario.

The selection of Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell to play the roles of Sam (the quantum leaper) and Al (Sam's advice-giving & holographic guide) was spot on.

The story lines were great. The series consisted mainly of fictional plots, interspersed with the odd story based on real life events. In addition, the show's original signature tune was great!

The acting, especially from Scott and Dean, was first class. In fact, you don't need to be a sci-fi buff to enjoy Quantum Leap …….. a Bellisario masterpiece!

________ 9 out of 10! ________

Carl Giwa.

"Mirror Image" (the series finale) was originally intended to be a season cliffhanger into the sixth season, but the show was cancelled due to low ratings in the end of the fifth season. The producers then decided to reshoot some scenes and make this episode the series finale. The result was rendering the episode a bit lacking, and leaving many questions unanswered. The ending was left open to allow for the possibility of a TV-movie, or even a theatrical film at some point. Neither ever came to pass.
