I already have a dish TV connection at my home and now the set top box is broken. Can I use use the same satellite receiver for the new connection?

I think when you say 'receiver' you mean dish/antenna?

You can replace the set-top box, which is a receiver by the way, without replacing the antenna or the cabling. Sometimes the LNB (the block on the front of the dish) can cause you reception issues which make you think your box is broken, it is a good idea to have someone check this before buying a new box.

I'll assume that when you say “I already have a dish tv connection” you mean your home is wired with dish, or the dish itself. “Set top box” is your reveiver.

And “satellite receiver” is the satellite dish or the lnbf. With that said Do you mean to say

My home is already wire for dish but my set top box is broken so do I need to replace the wiring or satellite dish/lnbf when I replace my receiver.

Sounds like you're moving into a house that has a dish on it and they're shipping you out a new one because the old one got damaged

Or

You want to avoid the service fee by connection a shipped replacement receiver.

How about plugging any android tv box MAG424Aw3? You can watch movies online without downloading in excellent pitch. This set-top box can be connected to the Internet wirelessly; no cables or additional accessories are necessary. Plus this set-top box performed in small form-factor. It has 2 GB operative and 8 GB flash memory, which is good enough to playback and store the high-quality video. So, highly recommended indeed
